"LISTEN To Score"

What is an mp3 and wma file?

These are files play music. They are audio files that have been clevely compressed so that they can easily be downloaded to your computer and played. If you have a Windows machine, Windows Media Player can play these files easily, but you must turn your speaker to hear the music.

What instrument is playing the handbell compositions?

xylaphone, or vibraphone, or vibes, or something like that. I'm looking for a good sample for handbells? And I don't know what to do with a sample if it hit me. It would be yet another thing that I learn as I put the buttons in place.

How do you create these files?

It's fun, after I figured out how to do it. I recently purchased a new fancy sound card that would make all the difference in the world in my audio quality. And I am sure it would, if I could figure out how to do it. I'm still working on that. Which is one of the reason that many of the pieces in the catalog don't have a file to listen to the score. But you start with a midi file imported into Cakewalk or Cubasis and find a sound or sounds that work, and you go from there.
